This steam engine (41 360) is owned and operated by "Dampflok-Tradition Oberhausen", an enthusiast club in the German city of Oberhausen. 41 360 is an oil fired 1' D 1' (2-8-2 or "Mikado" in US parlance) freight locomotive. The first unit was built in 1937. By 1986 all class 41s were taken out of service.
